Elite College Basketball Programs to Face Off in Los Angeles  

Arizona, Gonzaga, BYU and USC Featured in Double Header on December 3

Los Angeles, CA – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the field of teams for the first-ever Hoophall LA, a premier college basketball showcase held in conjunction with STAPLES Center on December 3, 2016. The one-day doubleheader will feature the University of Arizona vs. Gonzaga University and Brigham Young University vs. the University of Southern California.

“The Basketball Hall of Fame is proud to be bringing premier college basketball matchups to such a legendary venue,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame. “We appreciate the hospitality of AEG and STAPLES Center and look forward to working with several great partners in southern California.”

“We are incredibly excited to host the Basketball Hall of Fame’s inaugural Hoophall LA basketball showcase at STAPLES Center this December,” echoed Lee Zeidman, President of STAPLES Center. “We are looking forward to hosting the tremendous fans of USC, Gonzaga, BYU and Arizona here in downtown LA.”

Tickets for Hoophall LA will go on-sale to the general public on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. PT via AXS.com, by phone at 888-929-7849 and the STAPLES Center box office. Game times and television broadcast information will be released at a later date.
