- Beckerman & Colaccino elected to Governors; Delaney, Donehew & Mainini join Trustees -

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame today announced new board members elected to the Board of Governors, as well as Board of Trustees. David Beckerman, President of Acorn Group and Frank Colaccino, CEO of the Colvest Group have joined the Board of Governors after previously serving as Trustees.

The Board of Trustees welcomes three new members in Bob Delaney, veteran NBA official and current Vice President of the league’s referee operations, Danielle Donehew, Executive Director of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and Yvan Mainini, President of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA.)

“We at the Basketball Hall of Fame are committed to preserving and commemorating the game we love,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame. “Our newly elected board members share this passion and have each made significant contributions to the game. We look forward having them join us in our mission and continuing their tremendous efforts.”

The Board of Governors serves as the group responsible for overseeing the management of the Basketball Hall of Fame. Additionally, the Governors assess means to raise revenue and awareness. The Governors ultimately serve as ambassadors of the Hall promoting its core mission, which is to celebrate the greatest moments and people in basketball.

Similarly, the Board of Trustees serve as ambassadors of the Hall, while also being responsible for preserving the fundamental mission and financial well being of the Basketball Hall of Fame. Both boards are made up of individuals that work in or have worked in the game, as well as business leaders that have supported the game.
