B/R App to Stream Hoophall Central, South, East and Classic Starting Friday, December 17

Springfield, Mass. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame today announced that Bleacher Report will livestream its three newly formed regional Hoophall Events - Hoophall Central in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Hoophall East in Lewes, Delaware, and Hoophall South in Bentonville, Arkansas. As part of the agreement, Bleacher Report will live stream each of the participating games and will gather and create behind-the-scenes content that can only be found on the B/R app, website and across its B/R Hoops social channel.

Viewers will be able to stream the Hoophall event on the B/R app (Android and iOS) and utilize the platform’s functionality to comment on the best moments from the games in real-time with other B/R app users.

“We could not be more excited to partner with Bleacher Report for our upcoming Hoophall events,” said Matt King, COO of Position Sports. “Hoophall Classic has evolved into the most premier high school events of the year and gave us the opportunity to grow the brand to showcase more talent around the country with four regional stops. Bleacher Report is the perfect partner for our events as it gives the next generation of basketball stars a major platform to show off their skills. We can’t wait for the unique and compelling content our partnership is going to produce.”

Each of the remaining regional events are expected to be the most premier showcases in their respective areas. Hoophall Central will take place this upcoming Friday and Saturday, December 17-18, Hoophall East will be December 27-29 and Hoophall South will be January 6-8, 2022. The 20th anniversary of the Spalding Hoophall Classic presented by Eastbay will culminate this series of events over Martin Luther King Day Weekend, January 13-17, 2022, featuring an elite field of national schools and players.  The event has showcased dozens of eventual NBA players over the years, including 10 No.1 NBA Draft picks such as Kyrie Irving, Anthony Davis, Karl-Anthony Towns, Zion Williamson, Anthony Edwards and Cade Cunningham.
