SPRINGFIELD, MASS. – The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame has revealed the matchups for the annual 2025 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off. The event will take place on Saturday, November 8, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, and will feature a doubleheader: Providence vs. Virginia Tech and George Washington vs. South Florida.
“The Hall of Fame Tip-Off has become a staple of the college basketball calendar and a proud tradition for us each season,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. “Providence has been a part of this event’s history since the early years, and their passionate fan base always brings incredible energy to Mohegan Sun Arena. We’re excited to welcome them back alongside three strong programs for what promises to be a great day of basketball.”
Tickets for the 2025 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off will go on sale Friday, September 5, via Ticketmaster and on sale at the Mohegan Sun Arena Box Office starting Saturday, September 6.
