Quotes from Participating Head Coaches

“We are honored to be a part of the Basketball Hall of Fame’s Tip-Off event this coming November. This is a great early season neutral court event where we will face two teams that advanced to the NCAA tournament last season. These opportunities, early in the season, are invaluable to a group looking to learn a lot about themselves while competing in a championship environment at Mohegan Sun.” – Martin Ingelsby, Delaware

“The Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun will be one of the highlights of our non-conference schedule. Connecticut is home to a lot of great college basketball and a lot of great college basketball fans, so we’re thrilled to be a part of what I’m sure will be a tremendous atmosphere. And from a competitive standpoint, the opportunity to play two premier mid-major teams that participated in the NCAA Tournament last year will be a good test for us shortly before we get into the MAAC schedule.” – Chris Casey, Fairfield

"We’re excited to be back at the Mohegan Sun. We've had a great relationship with the Hall of Fame and the Mohegan Sun and we look forward to getting back down there. There are four really good teams, so it will be a great neutral-site event. We’re really looking forward to our games against Fairfield and Delaware." – John Becker, Vermont

“We’re honored to participate in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off. The Mohegan Sun is a terrific venue, and we are always excited to play in the state of Connecticut. We look forward to the challenge of facing quality mid-major opponents in Fairfield and Delaware.” – James Jones, Yale
