Air Force Reserve Announced as Partner of Basketball Hall of Fame National Collegiate Events in 2018-19 Season

Oct 01, 2018 - SPRINGFIELD, MA – Today, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the Air Force Reserve as the title partner for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame collegiate events. The support of national sponsors such as the Air Force Reserve will allow the Basketball Hall of Fame to operate first-class events for over 40 collegiate programs this season in five markets.

Basketball Hall of Fame to Host 6th Annual Hoophall West

Sep 19, 2018 - PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the field of teams and game schedule for the 2018 Hoophall West, an annual basketball showcase now in its sixth year. The event serves as the west coast version of the original Springfield, Massachusetts-based Hoophall Classic – an event that has featured many of the top prep teams and players for more than 15 years. Hoophall West game action will take place at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale on December 6th, 7th and 8th.

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame to Host Numerous Community Events Surrounding Enshrinement Weekend

Sep 04, 2018 - SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The evening of Friday, September 7th, basketball enthusiasts from coast-to-coast will focus on Springfield, Mass., the birthplace of basketball and home of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Fans will line the streets and the Class of 2018 will give induction speeches at the landmark Symphony Hall. While the Enshrinement Ceremony is of course the focal point of the weekend’s festivities, new inductees, award winners, and Hall of Famers will be participating in a number of community relations initiatives surrounding this megaevent.

Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Benefit Game to Feature Highly Anticipated Match-Up Between UConn Huskies and Tennessee Lady Vols

Aug 14, 2018 - SPRINGFIELD, MA – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the renewal of the historic series between the UConn Huskies and the Tennessee Lady Vols, starting in the 2019-20 season. As a longstanding rivalry, the teams consistently met from 1995-2007, but have not faced each other since. Widely regarded as the two most successful women’s programs in the country, UConn and Tennessee account for 19 National Championships, dozens of impact players in the WNBA and many of the sport’s all-time greats.
