Basketball Hall of Fame and Beta Sigma Boulé Join Together for the 2nd annual Education and Leadership Luncheon in Springfield

Aug 10, 2017 - SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is teaming up in a big way with Beta Sigma Boulé (chapter) of the Sigma Pi Phi fraternity and Springfield College to present the second annual Education and Leadership Luncheon to inspire and celebrate local area youth. The press conference announcing the second annual collaboration will be held at Springfield College on Aug. 10 at 9 a.m.

With a focus on Hall of Famers, fans will hear the greatest stories told by the legends that lived them. In addition to Hall of Famers, the podcast will feature stories from past legends, current stars, coaches, media personalities and other basketball personalities.

Bob Hurley, Nancy Lieberman and Dwyane Wade Named Winners of 2017 Mannie Jackson - Basketball’s Human Spirit Award

Jul 21, 2017 - SPRINGFIELD, MA – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced this evening on NBA TV the winners of the 2017 Mannie Jackson - Basketball’s Human Spirit Award. They are high school coaching legend and four-time National Champion Bob Hurley, basketball trailblazer and Sacramento Kings assistant coach Nancy Lieberman and 14-year NBA veteran and 3-time NBA Champion Dwyane Wade. The winners will be recognized on Thursday, September 7th at the Reunion Dinner at the Hall of Fame during Enshrinement Weekend.

Jul 10, 2017 - SPRINGFIELD, MA – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame today announced a partnership with IMG, a leader in collegiate sports marketing, focused on a series of premier basketball events for both men and women at the collegiate level. As a non-profit institution committed to promoting and celebrating the game of basketball at all levels, the Basketball Hall of Fame has continued to elevate its roster of collegiate events over the past decade. Through this newly announced partnership, IMG College and the Hall will collaborate on existing events in the portfolio – with a focus on event planning, sponsorship sales, television and ticket sales – as well as look to create new events in locations of mutual interest.
