SPRINGFIELD, MA – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today that it has partnered with the University of Louisville to host the Basketball Hall of Fame Shootout at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, December 27th. The in-state rivals will battle it out with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the non-profit Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.  The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

“The Louisville and Kentucky rivalry is one of the best in college basketball.” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. “It’s an honor to be a part of this event and we are thankful for the continued support.”

This game will mark the 48th meeting between the two teams.
