Spalding Hoophall Classic

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s Hoophall Classic annually features the top high school players and teams from around the country. The event is held over the Martin Luther King Day Weekend at Springfield College’s Blake Arena and has hosted many NBA First Round Draft Picks, College All-Americans and McDonald’s All-Americans.

Tip-Off Tournament

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s Tip-Off Tournament features college basketball’s top programs. For twenty-five years, the Tip-Off Classic was the inaugural start of the college hoops season.  For the past several years, the Tip-Off Tournament, delivers top ranked basketball in November.

Elks Hoopshoot

The Basketball Hall of Fame is proud to host The Elks Hoop Shoot, a local weekly shooting contest every Sunday at 2pm. Contestants compete to win an Elks Basketball and become that week’s champ. The event is part of a national weekly program created by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The weekly shootout takes place on Center court inside The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame with participation for Hall of Fame visitors. The finals are held here at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield Massachusetts – the birthplace of basketball.

Youth Tournaments

BasketBull is an official licensee of the Basketball Hall of Fame approved to run amateur/grassroot basketball tournaments in the spring, summer and fall. The tournaments continue to expand as teams from across the country visit Springfield and the Hall of Fame.

Hoops & Heroes

Hoops & Heroes was conceived in 2010 as a partnership involving the Basketball Hall of Fame, the Hampden County Sheriff's Department and Special Olympics Massachusetts to celebrate the individuals who are on the front lines of public safety.

With team entry fees and sponsorships, funds are raised for Special Olympics Massachusetts, who provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The Hoops & Heroes tournament is made up of first responders, including teams of law enforcement, military and emergency service personnel. The competition continues to grow each year and is on its way to becoming a national program.
