LEWES, DEL. – The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, in conjunction with Slam Dunk to the Beach, announced the field of teams for the 2023 Hoophall East, an annual basketball showcase that will take place at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Delaware, from December 26-29.

“We look forward to returning to Lewes right after the holiday season and bringing local and national talent all together at Hoophall East,” said John L. Doleva, President & CEO of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. “We are thankful to have the support of the local community each year, and we hope they enjoy some exciting basketball right in their backyard.”

In addition to local participants, the tournament will feature teams from Arizona, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

Tickets for the 2023 Hoophall East are on sale at hoophall.com/events/hoophall-east. Supporters of Hoophall East include presenting sponsor Bayhealth, alongside Delaware Sports Commission, Delaware Tourism, Grotto Pizza, and Sussex County Council.
