Events Scheduled in Los Angeles, Miami, Phoenix, Atlantic City and Connecticut

 

 

SPRINGFIELD, MA – Today, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the Air Force Reserve as the title partner for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame collegiate events. The support of national sponsors such as the Air Force Reserve will allow the Basketball Hall of Fame to operate first-class events for over 40 collegiate programs this season in five markets.

“We are very appreciative to have the support of the Air Force Reserve and our additional marketing partners who make our world-class collegiate events possible,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame. “From coast to coast, we are proud to celebrate the game of basketball at every level while providing memorable experiences in elite facilities for players and fans.”

The Hall’s growing portfolio of collegiate events includes well established events such as the Tip-Off Tournament (November 16, 17 and 18), Women’s Showcase (November 17) and Holiday Showcase (December 16) at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Marquee events now in their fourth and third year respectively include the Hoophall Miami Invitational at AmericanAirlines Arena (December 1) and the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic returning to STAPLES Center in Los Angeles (December 7). Inaugural events in this year’s line-up include the Jerry Colangelo Classic at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix (December 9) and the Basketball Hall of Fame Boardwalk Classic in Atlantic City (December 15).
