Today the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced its support of Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,800 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2013.
Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Announces Inaugural Hoophall West during December 13-14 at Grand Canyon University
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the creation of Hoophall West, a major national high school basketball showcase hosted at Grand Canyon University December 13-14 in Phoenix this coming season. The event is the west coast version of the original Springfield-based Hoophall Classic, which has featured many of the top prep teams and players over the past 12 years.
It all comes down to 25 free throws. These baskets are the only thing standing between the Elks Hoop Shoot national finalists, a Hoop Shoot national title, and their names permanently inscribed in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
