SPRINGFIELD, MASS.The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the field of teams and schedule for the 2024 Spalding Hoophall Classic, an annual basketball showcase now in its 22nd year. Games will be played at Blake Arena from January 11-15, 2024, at Springfield College, the Birthplace of Basketball.

The nation’s premier basketball event will once again showcase the country’s elite high school basketball teams. In addition to local participants, the tournament will feature teams from 15 states (Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virginia) and Washington, D.C.

Doleva, President and CEO of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. “This year, we have one of the most talented fields this showcase has ever seen with 34 of the top 50 boys ESPN100 Class of 2024 recruits. Marquee boys matchups include Grayson High School (GA) vs. Perry High School (AZ), Montverde Academy (FL) vs. Prolific Prep (CA), Paul VI High School (VA) vs. Christopher Columbus High School (FL), Link Academy (MO) vs. IMG Academy (FL), Archbishop Stepinac High School (NY) vs. Don Bosco Prep (NJ), and Long Island Lutheran (NY) vs. Christopher Columbus High School (FL).

The tournament will feature four women’s games this year. Eight of the Class of 2024’s HoopGurlz WESPN Top 100 recruits will be featured, as well as five from the Class of 2025’s Super 60 and two from the Class of 2026’s Terrific 25.

Over the previous 21 editions of the event, Hoophall Classic spectators have been treated to more than 100 future NBA players and an abundance of rising talent, including NBA superstars Kevin Durant (2006), Kyrie Irving (2010), Anthony Davis (2011), Karl-Anthony Towns (2014), Jayson Tatum (2016), Deandre Ayton (2017), Zion Williamson (2018), Evan Mobley (2019), Jalen Green (2020), and Cade Cunningham (2021).

Ten of the last 12 No. 1 overall picks in the NBA Draft have played at the Hoophall Classic. This year, Hoophall Classic will feature 45 players in ESPN’s Top 100 from the Class of 2024, 17 from the Class of 2025 Top 60, and six from the Class of 2026 Top 25.
