MAAC Announces Partnership with Horner Sports Flooring and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has announced a partnership with the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and Horner Sports Flooring. The 5-year agreement will provide the MAAC and the Basketball Hall of Fame with a Horner Pro-King portable basketball floor for use at several events including the annual MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships and the Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off Tournament.
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the winners of the 2014 Morgan Wootten Award for Lifetime Achievement in Coaching High School Basketball. This prestigious award is named after Morgan Wootten, who is one of two high school coaches enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame. The annual award recognizes two high school coaches, one for boys’ basketball and one for girls’ basketball.
