This prestigious award presented by the Elks Hoop Shoot is named after Morgan Wootten, who served as the Head Coach of DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsvile, Maryland for 46 years and is one of four high school coaches enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame. The annual award recognizes two outstanding high school coaches, one for boys’ basketball and one for girls’ basketball.

The 2020 All-Star event will be held on Thursday, March 19 on the Jerry Colangelo Court of Dreams at the Hall of Fame. A total of 61 players were selected from different divisions within the region to participate in three games that will showcase the top seniors in their final high school contest.
