Sarunas Marciulionis

Known as the first ever Soviet player in the NBA, Sarunas Marciulionis was a Lithuanian Legend. Marciulionis was known for his miraculous left handed dribble which helped to propel the National Lithuanian team to a Gold medal in 1988 and the Bronze medal in both 1992 and 1996. The expansion and internationalization of the NBA was only helped by this Lithuanian Legend. Marciulionis is most known in his career with his time with the Golden State Warriors during the “Run TMC” in which he would that spark off the bench and finished as the runner up as Sixth Man of the Year in 1992, and in 1993.
