Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Donations Policy
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the game of basketball and makes charitable donations to eligible non-profit organizations locally that support educational and/or social outreach programs that directly provide year-round academic and/or developmental support for children. We regret that due to the overwhelming volume of requests that we receive, we are not able to fund every proposal. Guidelines:
In order to be considered again for a donation, we ask that the organizations which receive a donation from the Hall of Fame return the follow-up report specifying the amount raised by our donation and the amount raised through the fundraising event. This report should be submitted to the Community Relations Department within two months of completion of your fundraising event. This information must be received in order to be eligible for a donation the following calendar year. |
