SPRINGFIELD, MA – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today that it has renewed its partnership with Insurance Office of America (IOA), which will once again be the Official Insurance Agency of the Basketball Hall of Fame. IOA will be a premium sponsor of all 2014 Enshrinement events alongside Mohegan Sun, Panini, MassMutual Financial Group, Haggar Clothing, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat and the Miami Heat Charitable Fund. IOA will also be a presenting sponsor at the third annual Jerry Colangelo Basketball Hall of Fame Golf Classic in Phoenix, AZ on September 25 and 26 at the Wigwam Arizona.

This year’s Enshrinement will take place August 7-9 with events at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT and Springfield, MA. Over 50 Hall of Famers are once again expected to attend this year’s ceremony to honor the Class of 2014, which includes seven-time NBA All-Star Alonzo Mourning; 1994 NCAA National Championship coach Nolan Richardson; six-time NBA All-Star Mitch Richmond; 2002 NCAA National Championship coach Gary Williams; three-time AIAW National Championship winning Immaculata University team; winningest coach in ABA history Bob Leonard; early African American pioneer Nat Clifton; international basketball superstar Sarunas Marciulionis; Temple University legend Guy Rodgers and former NBA Commissioner of 30 years David Stern.
The Jerry Colangelo Basketball Hall of Fame Golf Classic at the Wigwam Arizona is a one-of-a-kind celebrity golf fundraiser for the Hall of Fame in honor of Hall of Fame Chairman and Class of 2004 member, Jerry Colangelo.
The Golf Classic takes place September 25-26 and features a number of hospitality events with more than 50 Hall of Famers and hoops legends including a Pairings Party, Casino Night with the tournament on the resort’s three 18-hole championship golf courses. Individual golfer and foursome packages are available.
