Basketball Hall of Fame To Partner with Spiffbox, Inc. for Direct Message Responses from Hall of Famers

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today a partnership with SpiffBox, Inc. www.spiffbox.com  – an Internet website and mobile application that allows fans to receive direct and personal message responses from high-profile people including athletes. SpiffBox’s “Priority Messaging” product allows consumers to get fast and direct messaging access to people outside their social network.

Visitors to the Hall of Fame’s website www.hoophall.com can now trade messages directly with such basketball greats as Rick Barry, Elvin Hayes, George Gervin, Nancy Lieberman and Sam Jones with more additions on the way. Message responses are embossed on electronic photographs that may be printed or shared on Facebook, Twitter and Google +.  Fans participate in the communication for a nominal cost with a portion of the proceeds going to The Basketball Hall of Fame, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. With SpiffBox, fans can now trade messages with Sam Jones during NBA games or discuss University of Houston basketball with Elvin Hayes.

“We are pleased to announce our partnership with SpiffBox,” said John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame.  “This will be a huge stepping stone in allowing fans to communicate directly with their favorite Basketball Hall of Famers, as well as helping to raise dollars for our organization.”

SpiffBox provides consumers fast and direct messaging access to high-profile individuals who are often overwhelmed with messages through their Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn accounts.   SpiffBox.com provides direct access to thousands of athletes, actors, executives and writers.
