Dome To Turn Purple for National Epilepsy Awareness Month

In honor of National Epilepsy Awareness month, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame will be turning the dome purple from November 26-30, 2012. Epilepsy is a medical condition that produces seizures affecting several different mental and physical functions; it is also considered a seizure disorder that affects over 2.2 million Americans, and over 65 million people worldwide. November has been declared National Epilepsy Awareness Month, and the Epilepsy Foundation has begun a “30 Days 30 Ways to Take Action” campaign that focuses on bringing awareness to the medical condition as well as providing information to those that are suffering from the disorder.
