Giving Opportunities

INSPIRATIONAL GIVING

When you listen to the Enshrinement speeches of any of our Hall of Famers, you'll find them brimming with tales of the individuals and moments that shaped their journeys. Whether it's a coach, a family member, a colleague, or their personal resilience against adversity, they credit their achievements to relatable life experiences.

At the Hall of Fame, we offer coaches, players, and their families various ways to pay tribute to those who have impacted them or to impart their own inspirational tales to future generations. These narratives not only uplift the spirits of fans but also prompt introspection on the moments that fuel personal aspirations. Consequently, they serve as catalysts for inspiring others to pursue goals that were once thought unattainable.

NAISMITH COACHES CIRCLE

MASSACHUSETTS LICENSE PLATE PROGRAM

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is proud to offer a special license plate through the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles. The plate features a classic Hall of Fame logo with the words "Birthplace of Basketball" emblazoned under your plate number which begins with the designation "BB".

Proceeds from the special plate go to support the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

To order, please visit The Official Website of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.

PLANNED GIVING

SUPPORT TO THE NAISMITH BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME WITH A GIFT FROM YOUR WILL OR ESTATE

planned gift is a prearranged donation from someone in the present and allocated on a future date. Typically, a planned gift is granted once the donor has passed away. Most planned gifts are commonly through someone's will, trust, or another giving vehicle. A planned gift helps you live your values out today and may enable you to reduce and/or avoid estate taxes while meeting personal and financial goals.

Your gift helps support the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame mission. We ask that you notify us so we can convey our gratitude and include your gift in our legacy society called the Naismith Legacy Society, where your gift is honored and highlighted in the BHOF.

Thank you for considering us, the Basketball Hall of Fame, in your estate plans. We are grateful for your support.
