Maccabi Celebration

All are invited to celebrate the opening of the latest exhibit at the Basketball Hall of Fame, featuring the story of Maccabi Elite Tel Aviv. May 18th’s events will feature appearances by two of the most recognizable names in Maccabi basketball history, Tal Brody and Mickey Berkowitz and General Manager, Shimon Mizrahi.

Programming will run from 12pm-4pm with activities for children and adults throughout the museum, including authentic Israeli food. See attached flyer for more information.

BRUISER FLINT

JAMES “BRUISER” FLINT, HEAD COACH OF DREXEL UNIVERISTY MEN’S BASKETBALL. BRUISER IS A 1987 GRADUATE OF SAINT JOSEPH’S COLLEGE WITH A DEGREE IN FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT. WHILE AT SAINT JOE’S, HE WAS A 4 YEAR LETTER WINNER, LED THE HAWKS TO THE ATLANTIC TEN CHAMPIONSHIP AND THE NCAA TOURNAMENT AS A JUNIOR. HE WAS AN ASSISTANT COACH AT UMASS FOR 7 SEASONS BEFORE BECOMING THE MINUTEMEN’S HEAD COACH FOR 5 SEASONS AND WAS THE WINNINGEST FIRST YEAR COACH EVER IN UMASS HISTORY. THE 2007 – 2008 SEASON IS BRUISER’S 7TH SEASON AS DREXAL’S HEACH COACH, WHERE HE HAS BEEN TWICE AWARDED THE COLONIAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION’S COACH OF THE YEAR.
