Bring your used books to the Hall of Fame during the month of March and receive a packet of discount coupons to area businesses. Just go to our admission booth with your books and ask for the coupons. The books collected will be distributed by Reader to Reader organization to under-funded school libraries throughout the country. CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH WITH A VISIT FROM THE FIRST AFRICAN AMERICAN TO PLAY IN THE NBA. MR. LLOYD WILL TELL US WHAT IT WAS LIKE BACK IN THE EARLY DAYS OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT AND HOW BEING GOOD AT A SPORT OPENED A LOT OF DOORS.

The Hall of Fame announces the first annual Western Mass High School All-Star Games to be held March 20th on Center Court with DII vs. DIII at 7PM and DI at 8:30PM! Doors open at 6PM.

Come and watch the best local prep seniors, selected by local press and coaches, compete in one final basketball showcase at the Hall of Fame.

SKILLS SATURDAY, March 22nd!

Coach Mindell Clinic 1 p.m.

Come brush up on your basketball skills surrounded by the greatest players ever! Tour the museum and discover what made the legends legendary, then bring what you learned down to Center Court.

And be on Center Court at 1 p.m. for Coach Mindell’s mini-clinic. He will teach the basics of dribbling, passing and shooting.

Celebrate Easter with your family and the Hall of Fame at the Easter Basket-Ball. Come to the Hall of Fame on Easter Sunday and each child will receive a FREE gift!!!

We are open from 10AM-5PM and there will be contests on Center Court for a range of ages at 12:00PM, 1:30PM and 3:00PM! The winner of each contest will receive an authentic Spalding Basketball from the Hall of Fame.

Eight teams will come to the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, Mass., the birthplace of basketball, to battle for the Division II Championship. The Quarter finals take place on March 26th, the Semi-finals on March 27th and the National Championship on March 29th. Prior to the Championship game on Saturday, March 29th, a Fanfest Celebration will be held at the Mass Mutual Center with live music, entertainment, games, prizes, food and more!
